LAUNCH EVENT: Circularity in Action at Bodriggy, Abbotsford
The official LoopLab Yarra launch bundled in a Circularity in Action Social Meetup. This event was a laid-back and fun environment for individuals and businesses to collaboratively explore circular and regenerative topics, at a venue already on a circular journey. We meet to build community, initiate conversations, and take the opportunity to look at what circular business looks like in practice. Thank you to Andrew and the team for hosting!

Cirque du Soil is Melbourne’s leading circular economy practitioner organisation specialising in SME circular transformation – a certified social enterprise that runs programs, not just advises on them. We’ve worked across hospitality, retail, manufacturing, film sets, office precincts, and multi-unit developments across Australia and internationally.
In 2025, our Organics Advisory Service for Moonee Valley City Council engaged more than 160 businesses and found that over 90% either had not recently reviewed their waste contracts or fully knew their entitlements – and were paying for inefficient or overlapping services they didn’t need. They also didn’t have the latest industry news or tips on local Circular suppliers. LoopLab Yarra is designed to find exactly those kinds of savings for businesses in the City of Yarra.

Kick things off at Circularity in Action – the LoopLab Yarra launch event at Bodriggy Brewing Co. Meet the CDS team, meet your fellow participants, and see what’s possible. [THANKS FOR A GREAT EVENT]
Step 03 — Early August 2026
WEBINAR: INTRODUCTION TO CIRCULAR ECONOMY
A 75 min foundational introduction to the circular economy, with case studies and tools tailored to your industry sector.
Step 04 — August 2026
1:1 mentoring session: site waste assessment
We visit your premises and assess what’s going out, what it’s costing, what you’re missing and what could loop back in. Usually takes 60 minutes.
Step 05 — September 2026
1:1 group mentoring session (industry specific ): Circular Action plan development
Based on your assessment and industry type, we segment by cohort groups and support you with a circular action plan development, identifying circular initiatives specific to your business, taking 3 initiatives as your cornerstone activities in the next phase. This becomes the working document for the implementation that follows – in your final mentoring session.
Step 06 — October – November 2026
1:1 mentoring session: Plan implementation support.
In this final 60 min 1:1 mentoring sessions, we support you with sourcing supplier proposals and support help with a Circularity Action Plan across organics, recycling, reusables, and resource recovery. Real quotes, real numbers, real outcomes.
